A check pattern built from blue, white and gold threads, woven so closely that the shades blend into a soft mid blue from a few steps away. Up close you can pick out the fine window pane lines crossing the blade. It gives you the interest of a pattern with the safety of a plain tie.

Woven checks can be bulky, but this one uses a fine jacquard yarn, so the knot stays small and tidy. The cloth has a light sheen and a bit of spring in it, which helps the tie sit flat against the shirt. Standard blade width, with a full lining behind it.
