The suede is soft to the hand, matte and lightly brushed, and it gives a little as you move so nothing digs in after an hour. Heavy thread work covers the front flap, the pockets and the chest strap, which is what lifts a pair like this above the cheap fancy dress versions.

Knee Length With Cord Hems
The legs finish just below the knee with a cord tie at each hem that you can pull in or leave hanging. The braces buckle to the waistband and adjust in length, the flap buttons shut at the hip, and both side pockets are deep enough for a phone and a wallet at the same time.
