The outside is brushed cotton flannel in a lumberjack check, with cord panels across the shoulders and collar for contrast. The check is woven into the fabric rather than printed on top, so it will not fade off the surface after a few washes. Press studs run up the front.

Flap chest pockets close with a stud, and there is more pocket room through the jacket for a phone, wallet, keys and gloves. That means less stuffed into your trousers and less left behind. Three shades are on offer, all easy over a hoodie at the weekend or a plain tee on a cold morning.
