Zip In Second Layer
There are two layers here: a buttoned outer with lapels, and a ribbed zip-up inner that closes high at the neck. Zip it up on a bitter morning and open it once you are indoors. Chest flap pockets, shoulder tabs and buttoned cuffs finish it off, and the side pockets are deep enough to be useful.

Sharp In Cold Weather
The slim tailored cut follows the shoulder line and finishes just below the hip, so it works over a suit for the office and over a jumper for everything else. It runs small, so size up if you like room to layer. Dry clean it and the shape holds season after season.
