A Dress Shoe With Grip
The upper is a proper polished loafer, but it sits on a thick lugged sole instead of a thin leather one. That gives you real grip on wet pavement and adds a little height, and it stops the shoe looking too formal with jeans. The extra sole height also keeps the leather clear of puddles and wet grass.

Texture You Can See
The leather is worked in two finishes on the same shoe, with a raised croc-effect grain across the middle and a smooth polished panel at the toe and heel. Fine brogue punching runs along the seam. The tassels swing loose at the front. The two finishes are matched in the same shade, so the shoe still reads as one piece.

Comfortable Straight Away
There are no laces, so you step in and go. The collar is padded and the lining is smooth, which stops rubbing at the back of the heel. The insole is cushioned for standing. Wear them with tailored trousers or with dark jeans. A soft cloth and a little polish on the smooth panels brings the shine straight back.
