You get the jacket, the waistcoat and the trousers, all cut from the same beige cloth, so nothing has to be matched up by eye. The waistcoat buttons up the front and sits flat under the jacket. The lapels are notched and the front closes on two buttons. Wear all three for the ceremony, or leave the jacket over a chair once the sun is high.

The cloth is a light cotton and linen blend with a soft grain you can see up close. It lets air move, so you stay comfortable through a long service and the photographs after it. The cut is tailored, close through the chest and waist with easy room in the arms.

Made For Summer Weddings
Beige goes with a white shirt, a pale blue shirt or an open collar, and brown shoes finish it off. It suits beach weddings, garden parties and daytime events, and the waistcoat works on its own over a shirt later in the year. Dry clean it and hang it between wears so the shape holds.
