Two Fabrics One Jacket
The front and back panels are quilted to hold warmth over your chest and back, where you feel the cold first. The sleeves and side panels are made from a soft knit that stretches and moves with your arms. You end up with the warmth of a jacket and the give of a cardigan in a single piece. It looks smart enough for the office and easy enough for a Saturday.

High Stand Collar
A tall collar closes right up to the chin and holds its shape on its own, with no hood behind it to bunch up. The full-length zip runs clean down the front. A ribbed hem and ribbed cuffs draw the shape in neatly at the edges so warm air stays in. A zip pocket at the side keeps small things secure.

Light Autumn Layer
This is a transitional jacket rather than a deep winter coat, which makes it the one you reach for from September onwards. It goes over a jumper and under a heavy coat once the weather really turns. Wear it with tailored trousers for work or with jeans at the weekend. The shades on offer are all quiet greys, navy and black.
