Soft Suede Upper
The suede has a deep open nap that shades lighter and darker as you turn the boot which is exactly what you want from a good suede. Punched brogue holes trace the side seam and curl around the heel. Two shades are on offer and both wear in beautifully as the nap settles with use.

Chunky Grip Sole
A thick black rubber sole is moulded with a proper lug tread so these handle a wet high street and a muddy field path. It is stitched to the upper the whole way round rather than simply glued on. That weight under the foot is what makes the boot feel solid.

Pull On Fit
Elastic gussets on both sides stretch open as your foot goes in then hold the boot close against your ankle. Loops at the front and the back give you something to pull against. Nothing to tie in the morning and nothing to loosen off through the day which is why a Chelsea earns its keep in winter.
