The corset-style waistband is wide, stiffened and shaped, so it pulls the middle in and holds it. That single piece of construction is what gives the skirt its figure, and it does the work without any belt or tie.

Buttons All The Way Down
A full row of buttons runs from the top of the waistband to the hem. It gives the front a vintage line, and it lets you leave the last few open, which changes how much of the leg shows and how the skirt falls as you walk.

A Skirt That Sweeps
Below the waistband it opens into a full A-line and falls to the ankle. The faux suede is soft enough to move rather than hang heavy, and in deep aubergine it works for autumn events and for the office. Wear it with the crisp shirt tucked in, or a fine knit over the top when the weather turns, and finish with heeled boots.
