Padding And Sherpa Together
Most long puffers give you one layer of warmth. This gives you two. The outer shell is quilted into wide horizontal panels of padding, and behind it the whole coat is lined with thick sherpa fleece. On a cold platform or a long dog walk that combination is the difference between coping and being genuinely warm.

Down To The Knee
The hem sits at knee height, so your back, hips and thighs are all covered instead of just your top half. The front opens all the way down and the sherpa lining rolls out along both edges, framing the opening in a soft contrast that stops the coat looking like plain black padding.

A Hood And Two Deep Pockets
The hood is roomy and lined in the same sherpa, so it stays warm even when it is sitting down on your shoulders. Two deep side pockets swallow your hands, keys and phone. It comes in a range of dark and neutral shades. Wash it cool, tumble it on low and shake it out so the padding lofts again.
