Lace Across The Top
The bodice is worked in fine floral lace, and the same lace carries on down the sleeves. It sits close through the chest and draws in at the waist, so the shape of the dress is already set before the skirt begins. A soft round neckline finishes it off and leaves room for a necklace. The bodice is backed underneath, so the lace reads as detail rather than see-through.

A Skirt That Floats
Below the waist the fabric turns light and airy. A gathered drape falls across the front and the hem settles at mid-calf. It swings out when you turn and drops straight back down when you stand still, which is exactly what you want at a long event.
