Leather With Real Structure
The upper is premium leather cut into clean angular panels, with a quilted section at the heel. It holds its shape rather than slouching at the ankle, which is what gives the boot its solid, deliberate look.

A Buckle You Notice
A large square metal plate sits on the outer ankle. It is the only piece of hardware on the boot, and it does the whole job of turning a plain leather ankle boot into something with a bit of attitude.

Built For Winter Pavements
The block heel stands at 8cm and sits on a platform with a grooved lug sole, so there is grip underfoot and less angle through the foot than the height suggests. A side zip makes them easy to get on over thick socks. Three shades: black, brown and khaki. Inside there is a padded footbed, and the shaft sits just above the ankle bone so the boot never rubs. Wear them with straight jeans, with a wool skirt and tights, or under a long coat in the coldest weeks.
