Cover Down To The Calf
The longline cut carries the padding well below the knee, so your legs stay warm on a platform or a school gate in January. A drawstring hem pulls the base in when the wind is up, and stops the coat from catching as you walk. The quilting is worked in a soft repeating pattern rather than plain straight lines.

Warm At The Neck
An oversized hood sits over a ribbed inner storm collar, so there is a soft barrier between you and the cold before the zip even closes. The two-way front zip runs under a snap placket, which means no draught finds its way down the front. Snap the placket shut over the zip and the whole front seals in one move.

Shaped Not Boxy
The waist is drawn in through the middle, so a long padded coat still shows a shape instead of hanging square. Flap pockets at the hip take gloves and a phone, the stitching is reinforced where you pull on it, and the finish shakes out wrinkle-free after a day sat down.
